INSIDER

1 Beats Studio Pro

Beats by Dr Dre is back with its first new pair of over-ear headphones since 2017’s Studio 3 Wireless. So what do the new Beats have to offer? How about active noise cancelling, charging and 24-bit hi-res lossless audio over USB-C, and personalised spatial audio and head tracking (if you’re an iPhone user). Beats has also drastically redesigned the drivers in these headphones, with a new two-layer diaphragm design, refined micro-venting and 25 per cent stronger magnets, which it attributes to the claimed 80 per cent decrease in distortion. Is this the comeback that Beats has been waiting for?
