I am at a loss to know where that year went, but it is once again our Awards issue – the biggest issue of What Hi-Fi?’s year. The clocks have gone back and, before we know it, 2023 will be consigned to history; indeed the next magazine we start working on will be dated January 2024.
That’s all a bit depressing in one way, of course. But I always get more than a frisson of excitement when we are sending our Awards issue to press. It is, after all, the culmination of a huge amount of work over the past year – and in particular the past three months or so – from the whole team; and it is a huge pleasure to be able to present to our readers our pick of the very best products to have passed through our review rooms.
Not all of these products will be suitable for you (would that I had 15 grand to spend on a projector – or, indeed, the room to house it). But within these pages there is something for every hi-fi and home cinema fan; and the joy for you is that, when you see it, you will know it is the best of its kind that we can find.
