The choice of motorhomes and campervans is huge, so we’re bringing back our annual awards, in association with leading consumer finance provider, Creation, to help define the models that have really stood out to us. Also this year, to recognise the fact that campervans are fast becoming the dominant part of the UK market, they now justify their own a stand-alone awards – see the lists on the right.
Across all 18 awards, the judges hunted for that special something that makes a good motorhome or campervan truly great. That could be a novel approach to a traditional layout, an amazing new feature or piece of technology, great value for money or a mixture of any and all of these. The judges also took into account the practicality and appeal of the model for its target audience.
The judges have drawn on their over 90 years of combined motorhoming and campervanning experience to be able to assess all of the 2023 season models. Debates became heated and it sometimes came down to fine details that set the winners apart from the contenders.
And it’s commendable that, even in these tough times of supply issues and more, motorhome and campervan manufacturers have continued to innovate and listen to customers when designing their new models and features.
