A slightly smaller Flair is coming

LAST year, Niesmann + Bischoff unveiled the latest generation of its Flair liner-class motorhome as a single model, the 920. Now, for 2024, the manufacturer from Polch will be premiering the Flair 880 – a shorter version.

The exterior of the Flair 880 shares the 920’s new styling, which is said to have “a modern, sporty design” featuring tinted windows made of real glass.

It is inside, though, that these latest Flairs stand out in comparison with their forebears. The clear line of sight through the interior emphasises the large amount of space inside, while the step up to the single beds (which join in the middle) has been made much broader. There’s a face-to-face lounge, too, which can be transformed into a forward-facing bench with two seatbelts. Together, these features create a wide passage from the cab all the way to the rear bed.

The top cupboards at the front of this motorhome provide extra storage space, but, if the optional drop-down cab bed is specified instead, it all but vanishes into the ceiling.

Now, for the first time, it’s possible to have all the latest Flair’s features in a slightly more modest length – 8.87m, compared with 9.27m. And, although the kitchen is a little shorter in the 880, it still comes with all mod cons – from the electric, telescopic cooker hood and dishwasher to the large oven/grill and microwave.
