Fleurette & Florium 2024

A reduced range plus something for French rugby fans!

Words Rachel Stothert

ALTHOUGH it’s not a particularly well-known brand here, Fleurette (which is owned by Rapido but operates from a separate site in western France) celebrated 55 years in business last year and, in fact, it has two brands, the original Fleurette and similar layouts with a more contemporary style in the Florium range.

As with the rest of the industry, component and chassis supply problems have had a big impact, so much so that the company is currently operating a January to December production cycle (instead of the usual summer changeover). This means that, even though we are previewing the 2024 products here, they won’t start rolling off the production line until next January. To get back in line with the rest of the industry, the 2024 production will only last for eight or nine months, to allow the 2025 season to start, as usual, in September.

So the company is streamlining its offering to allow it to speed up production. The line-up is being reduced from 11 models for each brand to nine layouts, dropping the island bed 68 LM and the French bed 70 LD. Meanwhile, Fleurette has focused on adding more equipment, so, although there will be a price increase of around £1,800 on each model, this is offset by increased specification. The 2024 range kicks off at £74,390 (Baxter 60 LG), rising to £108,790 for the top A-classes.
