Bürstner

First shown as a concept in 2021, the Lyseo Gallery is one of the most innovative and unusual motorhomes not just in the Bürstner range but across Europe. This is a low-profile motorhome like no other, because it has an overcab bedroom that inflates on site to give a generous sleeping space – accessed by a true staircase that’s even illuminated, as well as incorporating additional storage.

It only takes 90 seconds to raise the overcab with the aid of compressed air and a specially developed chamber system – this is a whole lot more sophisticated than a conventional pop-top! When elevated, the vehicle becomes 3.70m high, but Bürstner has thoroughly tested its Gallery roof – in temperatures from minus 30 to plus 80 degrees Celsius, as well as with snow 1.5m deep and in winds of up to 120km/h.

Roof aside, the Gallery adopts the high spec of other Harmony Line models with a contemporary exterior and diamond quilted upholstery inside. Of course, it has Bürstner’s Thermo-Floor, too, to ensure all-season comfort on board.

The 689 G is one of two models in the range, both of which are under 7m in length. Here, the layout features an L-shaped settee up front along with twin swivel cab seats. The central kitchen, backing onto the lounge, is also L-shaped, with a tall, 142-litre fridge opposite. Then, across the rear, is a full-width washroom with separate shower and giant wardrobe, under which is the garage.

Lyseo I 744 Harmony Line

Bürstner’s mid-range A-class, the Lyseo I, was introduced in 2023 and is offered with a choice of five floorplans, all based on the popular Fiat Ducato chassis.

Each model comes with an electric drop-down bed in the cab and the company’s well-proven insulated Thermo-Floor. Sandy Grey furniture and 1.98m headroom ensure a good feeling of space inside.

This particular I 744 is a rare find amongst A-class mototorhomes in that it has a rear lounge rather than an end bedroom.

Built on a 4.4-tonne Heavy chassis (offering good levels of payload), it has a spacious layout within a 7.36m overall length. Up front, the lounge incorporates an L-shaped settee, a single side seat and swiv
