STORAGEOLPRO MAINS LEAD BAG

Have you opened your utility locker recently and just found a nest of cables, hoses and tools? Does pulling out your electric hook-up lead mean lots of other stuff in the locker will fall out with it?

We have the solution, thanks to Olpro, and it’s pretty simple. This bag is designed to stash 25m of cable, with zip access. It’s made of 420D nylon and has a waterproof coating, which Olpro claims will keep contents dry, but even more usefully, it will keep the locker contents dry when stashing away a rain-soaked or mud-splattered lead.

It costs £16 (plus shipping) from our new online accessory shop; although, if you sign up for the accessories e-newsletters at the bottom of the shop page, you’ll get a code for free delivery on your first order.

LEVELLINGEAZY PITCH

Do you struggle to get your ’van level? One answer, of course, is an expensive automatic levelling system, while others just gauge it by eye – something that some folk struggle with, judging by the severely sloping ’vans we’ve seen on some sites!

Here’s a cheap answer to the problem – if you have a Fiat-based motorhome or campervan with the cup holders in the centre console (this device fits into a 91mm-diameter hole, but there’s a second size for an 80mm hole). It’s simply a spirit level, showing whether you’re leaning left or right, or down at the front or rear. It comes with Allen key fixings to secure it into the cup holder, from where it can easily be seen from the driver’s seat. Of course, now you’ve got one less cup holder, but at least you won’t roll out of bed!

It’s a neat and cheap accessory, at £13.70, that can be bought from eBay, but we just wish they’d made it in grey to match the Fiat plastics, rather a retina-searing shade of green!
