Welcome to summer, and the tablet edition of Feel Good Food! May is often the first month of fabulous weather and I relish the long weekends and eating in the garden. Plentiful British produce allows us to make the most of the season – and eat healthily. But of course, we include wonderful puds and bakes, too. As always, our mantra in Feel Good Food is to enjoy something sweet – apart from a big bowl of berries – in moderation. We always take out fat and calories where we can but we don’t compromise on taste. Those sweeter treats are for the weekend when we have more time to plan and cook. And for midweek? We have simple ideas to make after-work suppers more interesting.Combine that with delicious dishes from great cooks, from favourites Mary Berry to Rachel Khoo, and there are recipes for every cook to enjoy.
