Get set for a brighter and lighter season with this delicious eating plan from Slimming World. Fill up on all your favourite foods and still lose weight with these healthy and nutritious meals – and you could lose up to 7lb in two weeks!*

HOW IT WORKS

Simply follow the menu. Feel free to repeat any meals that you enjoy.

1 Slimming World’s eating plan, Food Optimising, is based on the science of energy density (the calories per gram in food), of satiety (how filling a food is) and how easy a food is to overeat. It’s a simple way to cut calories without counting them and lose weight without going hungry.

2 Free Food is at the heart of the Slimming World plan. These are the foods that you can enjoy without weighing, measuring or counting. There are over 350 Free Foods to choose from.

3 To ensure you’re getting a balanced, nutritious diet, enjoy measured amounts of foods that provide calcium, like milk and cheese, as well as foods providing fibre and other essential minerals and nutrients.

4 In addition, choose from two of the following each day: 350ml skimmed milk, 250ml semiskimmed milk, 400ml plain unsweetened soya/almond milk with added calcium, 30g full-fat hard cheese or 40g reduced-fat hard cheese. Some days these have been included in the meal choices. Choose one on these days.

5 Don’t forget to treat yourself! Enjoy up to two options from the snack list (see page 103) every day.

MONDAY

Breakfast

Mix 40g plain porridge oats with 1 beaten egg, some fat-free natural/Greek yogurt and a few drops of vanilla extract. Tip into a small ovenproof dish and bake at 200C/fan 180C/Gas 6 until browned. Top with fresh or frozen and defrosted fruit, more yogurt and drizzle over 1 level tsp honey (optional).

Lunch

Make up some plain dried giant couscous following the pack instructions (without butter or oil), then stir through some spinach and chopped pepper (any colour). Squeeze over a little lemon juice, then top with sliced cooked skinless chicken breast.

Dinner
