GET YOUR FIVE A DAY
Don’t have time for a complete spring clean? No worries. Mrs Hinch likes to break her cleaning jobs down into five tasks a day so they become more manageable. ‘Personally I don’t know anyone that has the time to do a full house deep clean of their home every single day,’ she explains. ‘If you are one of those people, I salute you. But I feel so happy with my five a day!’ The influencer went on to give an idea of five things you could clean in one day: ‘Mopped floors; damp-dusted doors and skirting; [clean the] Velvetiser [hot chocolate machine]; washing machine filter.’

You might wash your pillowcases regularly, but what about the actual pillows? She explains, ‘Use vacuum packs to store away winter clothes and coats either in the loft or under the bed.’ She adds, ‘I love drawer organisers for keeping clothes neat and accessible. I find them useful for [my son] Ron’s bits and to sort out things like underwear and make-up.’

Get your kitchen bin smelling extra fresh even after you’ve disinfected it by using Mrs Hinch’s top tip. Simply spray a piece of kitchen roll with Zoflora (her favourite disinfectant spray), fold it up and place it at the bottom of the bin before replacing the bag.
FRIDGE FRIENDLY
The star says as it’s one of the most hard-working gadgets in our homes, your fridge could definitely do with some TLC this month. Here’s her three-step trick to give it a deep clean:
✱ ‘Take everything out so you’ve got a blank canvas. I use fridge liners, which are cheap from eBay, and save your fridge from spills. Remove liners, shelves and drawers and soak with washing-up liquid.’
✱ ‘Wipe the inside using a Minky [cleaning pad] and a cleaner – I like Flash Bicarb
