DAVINA ‘I orgasm in my sleep’
There isn’t much that Davina McCall doesn’t share with fans, but her latest revelations raised a few eyebrows.
Speaking on her podcast Making the Cut, which she hosts with hairdresser boyfriend Michael Douglas, 48, the 55-year-old admitted, ‘I’ve had an orgasm in my sleep,’ before quickly adding, ‘Several. It’s great!’ Discussing sex and orgasms, fitness guru Davina explained, ‘There’s a core-gasm, where an orgasm occurs while performing physical activity like abs exercises’. She then joked, ‘Gym, anyone?’
The TV presenter has become an advocate for women going through menopause in the last few years and regularly talks about her changing body and sexual experiences as she ages. One thing is for certain, she’s clearly not ready to give up feeling sexy, and recently revealed she’d taken the next step with her partner of nearly four years, with Michael having moved in with her. The couple found love in 2019, two years after Davina’s 17-year marriage to Matthew Robertson, the father of her three children, ended in divorce in 2017.
Unwilling to allow midlife – or the menopause – to cramp her style, the upbeat star previously declared, ‘Women over 50 feel sexy, we can dress sexily and we can wear underwear and we still enjoy orgasms.’ She added, ‘I feel like it’s really important to say that people in their 50s are having the time of their lives.’
