Inside RUTH & EAMONN’S PAD

We take a look at the place that TV’s golden couple call home

When they’re not hard at work, telly stars Ruth Langsford and husband Eamonn Holmes rest their heads at their six-bedroom mansion in Surrey. Boasting a sprawling garden, two living rooms, an open-plan kitchen-dining space and a home gym, it’s certainly fit for TV royalty.

FRONT DOOR

We got a sneak peek of the outside of Ruth and Eamonn’s house when they posted a video of themselves during the COVID-19 lockdown clapping and banging a pan for the NHS. The large black front door has glass panels and the modern exterior boasts light-coloured brickwork and two trees in containers framing the entrance.

LIVING ROOMS

With two living rooms, the pair don’t have to squabble over the remote. One space, where the couple film Celebrity Gogglebox, features light-coloured walls, a purple sofa, a grey footstool and a glass tray table, with double doors leading to the hallway. The second room follows a more neutral scheme, with an L-shaped sofa and patio doors opening into the garden.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM

Avid cook Ruth spends a lot of time in the kitchen, which includes an island, oak cupboards, white worktops and matching tiled flooring. The sink area has stunning views of the garden, while the open-plan layout means that the dining table is close to the kitchen, ideal for when the pair host dinner parties. During festivities such as Easter and Christmas, Ruth often decorates the sideboard and dining table accordingly.

HALLWAY
