Our expert chefs, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Shelina Permalloo, have helped us create these easy individual steak Reubens, served, if you like, with a well-chosen wine to complement the meaty flavours.

‘It’s the marbling of the fat in a ribeye steak that gives it a beautiful flavour,’ says Shelina.

Jean-Christophe is in no doubt. ‘This steak is so delicious,’ he says. ‘You don’t need to add butter or too much salt. Let the flavours shine on their own.’

Once rested, it only takes minutes to slice and layer up your ribeye between pieces of sourdough bread with the dressing, sauerkraut and cheese.
