It was no accident that over the summer, we saw rather more of Meghan than for all of the past year. As I revealed last week, she has decided she wants to live her life much more openly and the ‘relaunch’ by her new Hollywood power broker agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) was started with a series of August photographs and reports to maximise plans for a new money-making venture.

Meghan was seen shopping at a farmers’ market, revealed to have watched Barbie with friends including neighbours Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, surprised a bachelorette party at the San Ysidro Ranch hotel and was pictured in a slinky bandeau dress with Harry for her 42nd birthday celebration at a local restaurant.

She even allowed her hairdresser to post a social media pic of a casual ‘girls’ lunch (while wearing a new £1,650 pendant, naturally).

The culmination of this ‘softer, relatable’ Meghan was seen at the Invictus Games last month where she supported her husband at every turn – even apologising for being late as she’d been on the school run with Archie, four, and Lilibet, two, before leaving LA.

How cute!

There’s no doubt that criticising the Royal Family, and accusing them of neglect and racism, has severely affected her popularity both here in the UK and in the USA.

So this soft ‘relaunch’ is all about rebuilding Brand Meghan.

An insider told the New York Post about the new venture: ‘Meghan and the team are working hard – I think it will be surprising, it won’t be what everybody is expecting it to be. It will feel familiar to who Meghan is.’
