Having been a part of Strictly since it began back in 2004, you might feel like you know Anton Du Beke. Yet despite him being a household name, when we catch up with the dancer he’s full of surprising facts as he answers our 10 burning questions.

1 Do you have any embarrassing habits?

I don’t think I do, but I’ve now got children who are six and as they get older I’m going to become a slightly more embarrassing father because I have no shame. So if we’re on holiday, I’ll do things like wear ridiculous trunks. Sometimes I might wear a Speedo just for extra effect, which is embarrassing to my wife!

7 Who is your biggest support system?

I’m very fortunate, I’ve got a great team around me. But ultimately, it’s your immediate family, isn’t it? My wife and children. My in-laws are wonderful, too.
