1999 Fight Club

The charismatic, terrifyingly violent and mostly shirtless Tyler Durden is one of Brad’s most iconic roles. The dark drama sees him help Edward Norton’s character set up an underground fight club, but nothing is quite as it seems… Brad trained in boxing and taekwondo before filming and even had pieces of his teeth removed to properly look the part.

2005 Mr & Mrs Smith

The action comedy is best known for teaming Brad with Angelina Jolie, leading to the end of his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. Brad and Angelina played husband and wife who, unbeknown to each other, are secret assassins assigned to kill each other. Their on-screen chemistry led to a real-life romance that made headlines around the world as they eventually tied the knot, shared six kids and became Hollywood’s most glamorous couple before splitting in a messy divorce after 12 years together.

2019 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Brad bagged an Oscar for his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s Tinseltown epic, playing Cliff Booth, the cool-as-a-cucumber stuntman paired with Leonardo DiCaprio’s failing actor Rick Dalton. Mixing real life with fantasy (and bags of gritty violence) Cliff fought Bruce Lee and saved the life of Sharon Tate, played by Margot Robbie.
