PHILLIP SCHOFIELD Has Phil found love again?
There’s no denying Phillip Schofield has had a tough time recently. Just over nine months ago, he resigned from This Morning and later quit ITV altogether following the scandal of his ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a younger male colleague.
At the time, Phillip, 61, who is reported to have paid his former lover a six-figure sum to sign an NDA preventing him from talking about the relationship, made it clear he was at rock bottom and was heavily relying on his daughters, Molly and Ruby.
Phil, who remains married to his wife of 30 years, Stephanie Lowe, said, ‘My girls saved my life. They’ve been by my side every moment because they’re scared to let me out of their sight. If my girls hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t be here, because I don’t see my future.’
But are things finally turning around for the former presenter? He certainly looked chirpy when he was pictured out with a group of friends recently and latterly with his family, too – even carrying an adorable new dog.
The former This Morning host, who publicly came out as gay in 2020 and described Steph as his ‘rock’ and ‘foundation of support’, has been keeping a low profile but something is putting a smile on his face once more. Could he finally be ready to move on with his life or is it simply puppy love? If these pictures are anything to go by, he looks the happiest he has in a long time.
ANT’S BABY JOY
Congratulations are in order for Ant McPartlin as he’s expecting his first child with wife Anne-Marie. The news will likely be hard for his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong (below), 47, who he split with in 2017 after 11 years of marriage. Previously, Ant made no secret of wanting a family with Lisa, admitting, ‘We’d love to have kids. We’re trying…’ So, the fact that Ant, 48, is living out their dream with another woman can’t be easy. Following the news, which Lisa reportedly learned through the newspapers, the Strictly make-up artist, who reportedly received a £31 million settlement after the bitter divorce, posted a cryptic quote to Instagram. It read, ‘No one is you and that is your superpower.’
