It turns out even traitors need friends, as Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia, 52, and Hollywood A-Lister Courteney, 59, have been pals for years. But this wasn’t known by many, as fans were surprised last year when the former Friends star helped promote applications for series two of The Traitors. In a video shared to BBC1’s social media, Claudia appeared alongside a hooded figure, who was later revealed to be Courteney, asking if she could sign up. Then, earlier this year, the pair went for lunch in London’s Mayfair with their respective partners, Claudia’s film producer husband Kris Thykier, 52, and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, 47. She’s such a great girl.’ Speaking to Kris’ youngest daughter Kylie, 26, Jen later spilled the beans on a boozy time the pair spent together after drinking one too many of Kris’ infamous martinis: ‘I remember getting naked in your mom’s closet and ordering you to dress me,’ she recalled. ‘You dressed me fabulously.’ But Jen’s life was truly made in 2020 when in her birthday tribute, Kris called The Hunger Games star her ‘favourite daughter today’.

The Duchess of Sussex and Serena Williams

Even before she married into the Royal Family, the duchess had friends in high places. During her acting days, Meghan, 42, met 23-time Grand Slam tennis champ Serena at the 2010 NFL Super Bowl game. It wasn’t until 2014 that their paths crossed again at another Super Bowl, but after hitting it off ‘immediately’, Meghan said they ‘became such fast friends’. From then on, the pair have supported one another’s various business and personal endeavours. Serena, 42, attended Meghan’s 2018
