LORRAINE KELLY

TV’s Lorraine always looks amazing, but that doesn’t mean that she spends a fortune on clothes. The 64-year-old told fans that she picks up some of her favourite fashion pieces from charity shops. Sharing a snap of one bargain find, Lorraine explained, ‘It’s a Ghost dress which would probably be hundreds of pounds, but it was really cheap in the charity shop,’ adding that, ‘It’s the way forward isn’t it, I absolutely love it – and it’s the perfect fit.’

While she does have a credit card, Strictly’s Annabel knows not to get carried away using it. ‘I use the debit card more often than the credit card,’ she said. Your freezer is the best friend you didn’t know you had. Not only can you use it to save leftovers, it will rescue wilting herbs and keep fruit that’s on the turn.’ He went on to explain, ‘Getting organised is half the battle when it comes to keeping costs down in the kitchen.’

RUTH LANGSFORD

Her busy work schedule sees Ruth darting about here, there and everywhere. Yet rather than buying food on the go, former This Morning presenter Ruth always makes herself a packed lunch. As a way of both staying healthy and saving money, the 64-year-old food preps every Sunday and regularly shares her meals, including her favourite chopped Greek salad, with fans.
