Here’s what the stars have been up to in the last seven days

Happy birthday, GMB!

This week, congrats are in order for the team at Good Morning Britain as the show celebrates a decade on air. To mark the occasion, some of its presenters have shared their favourite memories.

Ranvir Singh

‘There have been so many it’s hard to choose, but off the top of my head, I’d say reporting from inside The White House and also doing a morning of [live reports] from the refugee front line in North Macedonia.

And, of course, winning the Golden Nymph award in Monaco at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.’

‘Probably the morning I turfed a cabinet minister off the programme for repeatedly refusing to answer a straight question! What really annoyed me was the disrespect being shown not to me, but to the viewers. I suddenly heard myself say, “OK, interview terminated because you won’t answer the question.”

Kate Garraway

‘All the events that surrounded the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II were so special. It was such an honour to be part of it. We’re lucky enough to interview so many stars over the years… But of course it’s actually often the people who aren’t famous who move us most – those with the powerful stories of their own lives that really move you and those who inspire and make you giggle.’

‘There have been just so many terrific interviews and viewer interactions. Every day is different and every morning, there is something terrific on the programme, which just makes working here a joy.’

ON THE RUN

Famous faces, including Romesh Ranganathan, Jenni Falconer, Chris Evans, Joel Dommett and Natalie Pinkham deserve a pat on the back and a well-earnt rest after completing all 26.2 miles of the London Marathon. We feel out of breath just thinking about it!
