There’s a summer of sport on TV with the UEFA European Football Championship from 14 June to 14 July and the Olympic Games starting two weeks later. Of course, that means the TV schedules are going to be chock-full of Europewide football matches and sporting action from Paris. Palm Royale Apple TV+
We love the cool 1960s fashion and interiors in this camp and glossy 10-part drama set in Florida. Kristen Wiig is former beauty queen Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons, who’s desperate to become a member of Palm Beach high society, so she joins the exclusive club, Palm Royale, where they congregate. But just how far will she go to fit in? The star-studded cast includes Ricky Martin, Allison Janney, Laura Dern and Carol Burnett.
Mary & George Sky Box Sets
Based on a true story, this seven-part drama stars Julianne Moore. She plays ambitious Mary Villiers whose scheming with her son George (Nicholas Galitzine) leads them to become the richest and most influential players in the 17th century after he seduces King James I and becomes his lover.
Hacks Prime Video
Before it returns for a third season later this year, catch up with the first two series of this comedy drama. Jean Smart plays Las Vegas comedian Deborah Vance, who needs to reinvent her tired, old act or risk losing her residency at a casino. When struggling comedy writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder) is sent to work with her, they forge a bond as Ava helps her boss shine again, while Deborah helps her work through her personal problems.
Neighbours Amazon Freevee on Prime Video
After being axed in 2022, the Aussie soap was revived by Amazon’s free-with-ads channel last September and it’s since been nominated for an Emmy.
This fresh start begins with the wedding of two Ramsay Street residents and there’s a twist at the end of the first episode that will have you hooked. All episodes are available in a bumper box set.
