BLOW FOR THE ELDERLY

In yet another round of bashing the older generation, the government is considering moving the age at which you can access free prescriptions to the current pension age of 66.

Oh brilliant idea. Stop even more vulnerable elderly people getting the health care they’ve paid in for all their lives! There’s this myth that all baby boomers are wafting around their fully paid for mansions on gold-plated pensions. That they’ve had it easy all their lives compared with younger generations. Oh go and do one, will you?

One in five UK pensioners lives in relative poverty and the UK state pension is one of the worst in Europe. Stop demonising the old. We knew it was wrong. We knew he was enjoying our discomfort. We fled.

I’d like to say I told Mum and Dad and that the perverted scumbag was reported to the police. But I didn’t. Deep down I guess I thought that if I had, my sis and I would be the ones locked up and banned from going out to play.

God knows what became of that creep but one 2014 evidence review found that 5-10% of flashers escalate this behaviour to more serious sexual offences.

The piece of filth who kidnapped, raped and murdered Sarah Everard had a history of indecent exposure going back to 2015. Earlier this month he had 19 months added to his whole life sentence for exposing himself – twice at a McDonald’s drive-through. If his behavio
