Dream’s over: Mia and Romeo (left) with the Beckham clan

Victoria Beckham is said to be devastated over her son Romeo’s split from model Mia Regan. Insiders have revealed that she was hoping Mia would become part of brand Beckham – but she’s still planning to work with her regardless.

A source revealed, ‘Victoria absolutely adores Mia and she is really sad that she and Romeo have split… She has her own relationship with Mia and the two women will still work together in the future. They both love fashion and have had some ideas about what they can do together and that still stands.’

Mia was clearly loved by Vic, 49, and husband David, 48, and VB is still liking Mia’s Instagram pics, while Mia attended Vic’s Paris Fashion Week show earlier this month.

Another insider said Victoria had been hoping Romeo and Mia, both 21 – who were together for five years – would eventually tie the knot. They explained, ‘Victoria was a huge fan of Mia and hoped the pair might end up getting married. She’s been known to want to create a big celebrity family like the Kardashians. That looks unlikely – for now, anyway. She can’t control what goes on with her kids – as much as she’d like to.’

Luckily, Romeo, who said when he announced the split, ‘We still have a lot of love and respect for each other,’ is apparently cool with his parents staying friends with his ex, with a source revealing, ‘There is absolutely no awkwardness, it is all amicable.’

Prince Harry has lost a High Court challenge against the Home Office over his security when he visits the UK. Harry, 39, took legal action after being told he would no longer be given the ‘same degree’ of publicly funded protection. The Duke of Sussex’s lawyers had claimed he was ‘singled out’ and treated ‘less favourably’ by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (RAVEC). But their attempt to challenge the decision has now been rejected, with High Court judge Sir Peter Lane saying, ‘The application for judicial review is refused.’ However, a spokesperson for Harry has said he will appeal, saying that he was ‘not asking for preferential treatment, but for a fair and lawful application of RAVEC’s own rules’.
