Ruth and Eamonn’sSHOCK LEGAL BATTLE

The beloved TV presenters have separated

As if navigating a divorce and adjusting to single life after 27 years wasn’t hard enough, Eamonn Holmes faces fresh heartbreak as he and estranged wife Ruth Langsford will likely have to battle it out for custody of their beloved dog Maggie.

The pair, parents to son Jack, 22, adopted the 14-year-old rescue pooch in 2011. Eamonn has previously touched on the ‘unconditional love’ he feels for Maggie: ‘I have never experienced affection like it,’ he said. And Ruth shared, ‘You come home and you’ve had a tough day, and I see her and she sees me… And you forget everything you were worried about, cross about.’

But now Ruth and Eamonn, both 64, are said to be having ‘difficult conversations’ about who will look after the pup. A source revealed, ‘Maggie is like a daughter to them. They dote on her. But she’s getting on and they know she needs stability. It’s a case of who can give her that.’

In the past, Eamonn has confessed Ruth does ‘all the walking, feeding and looking after’ but credits Maggie for getting him through his ongoing health challenges.

‘Maggie’s been such a support during his health woes,’ said a source. ‘The thought of giving her up is heartbreaking, but if Ruth is able to get out and about and walk her more, then it may be that she gets Maggie in the split,’ the source added.

Shania: ‘I DIDN’T THINK I’D SING AGAIN’

She’s still the one!

Shania Twain has opened up about a health battle that left her fearing she would no longer be able to perform. The Man! I Feel Like a Woman! singer developed Lyme disease, which damaged her vocal cords, after being bitten by a tick in 2003, leading to multiple surgeries. Shania, 58, didn’t release new music for 15 years before undergoing experimental surgery in2018 to try to repair damage to the nerves of her vocal cords. ‘I had an operation on my throat,’ she revealed. ‘I wasn’t sure if I would recover well enough or that the procedure would work, that I would be able to sing again.’ Thankfully, she can, and Shania has learnt to love her new voice: ‘I’ve got sounds and tones and power in places that I didn’t before,’ she said.
