From you to us
We love to hear what you’ve been up to, so do get in touch!
Six generations
My amazing mum, Gill, is 80 and she has read Woman’s Weekly all of her life. Once finished, she passes it to me, and then I give it to my daughter, Bethan, who also reads it. Finally it’s given to my granddaughter Lyra (seen here with me), who uses it to cut pictures for her scrapbook – recycling at its best! My great-grandmother Ada was the first to read Woman’s Weekly, and she used to share it with my grandmother, who would then give it to mum. Mum particularly enjoys reading the health pages (I think she would love to have been a nurse), and when I receive the latest copy, she’s already done all the puzzle pages! PAWS FOR THOUGHT
I thought you might like to see a picture of Sammy, on the right, my latest rescue cat. He has been welcomed into the household by Casper, who has a tinge of ginger on his ears – so maybe Sammy thinks he’s found a long-lost relative! Jean Bennett, Bournemouth
