A typical day My days go by quickly – I love my work, but my schedule is so busy. I get up at 8am. Breakfast is a smoothie (made with berries, banana and kale) or a bowl of porridge. I’ll answer some emails while I get ready. Where I head to depends on the day: it could be to the Royal Free Hospital for an A&E shift or to my Doctor Bibi Clinic on Harley Street, where I treat cosmetic patients – my expertise is anti-wrinkle injectables. I also teach medical students or lecture on aesthetic medicine. I’m usually home by 8pm. Weekday evenings are spent with my husband, cooking while we listen to music. Persian delicacies are my speciality and I use a lot of saffron and pomegranate. After dinner, I like to unwind with a film. Before bed, skincare is a must. A glycolic acid cleanse followed by vitamin A (retinoid) and an intensive nighttime moisturiser are my staples. Just five minutes of TLC and my skin is ready for the next day.

Skincare philosophy Consistency is key. Whatever your skincare concern, I believe that a consistent routine can create glowing skin. Skincare doesn’t have to be expensive – the key is to avoid chopping and changing products all the time.

Skincare non-negotiable Topical vitamin C. It brightens, decongests, protects and helps to minimise fine lines. I use this multitasking antioxidant powerhouse every day.

Main skincare concern? Dryness. If I can’t maintain my skincare routine for any reason, I notice my skin becomes dry and sensitised, particularly during the winter. That’s why I look to ingredients such as ceramides and hyaluronic acid to lock in hydration.

01 SKINCEUTICALS GLYCOLIC RENEWAL CLEANSER, £30 For me, this is the ideal dual-acid gel cleanser, featuring 8% glycolic acid and salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid best known for its ability to unclog pores). It effectively cleanses and exfoliates my skin without stripping it of moisture.

02 MEDIK8 C-TETRA, £37 This daily vitamin C serum is my absolute go-to. The lipid base is hydrating and it has a lovely scent; it also helps boost skin’s radiance and stimulate the production of collagen.

03 ALUMIER SHEER HYDRATION SPF40 VERSATILE TINT, £40 One of the best physical sunscreens [an SPF that reflects UV rays and is made from minerals such as zinc oxide] on the market, this skin tint offers protection against UVA and UVB rays; it’s full of antioxidants and works with the natural colour of your skin to create a unique tinted glow. It’s a great base for your make-up.
