A typical day

As soon as I wake up, I drink some lemon water, along with a decaf cof fee. I’ll check my texts and emails before squeezing in an exercise session; then it ’s a quick shower and I’m ready for the day ahead. As chief creative officer and founder of Drunk Elephant, my working week is always busy and no two days are ever the same. I typically have lunch at home, which usually consists of bone broth, a turkey burger and a salad. After lunch, I’ll juggle phone calls and launch meetings with making sure my kids have ever y thing they need. W hen the working day is done, I’ll run errands if I need to and then make dinner before watching the news while I do some more work and respond to emails. Fina lly, I wash my face, do my skincare routine, brush my teeth and take my supplements before going to bed.

Skincare philosophy

Less is more. Strip your routine back by just using a cleanser, moisturiser and SPF. I also avoid the ‘suspicious six’ – common ingredients that can lead to skin issues – silicones, drying alcohols, essential oils, fragrance, dye and chemical sunscreens.

Skincare non-negotiable

Instead of one non-negotiable product, I prefer to listen to my skin. Much like you might build a breakfast smoothie based on the nutrients you need that day, I create ‘skincare smoothies’ – combining the ingredients my skin needs at that time.

Main skincare concern

Before Drunk Elephant, I had all sorts of skin issues – my skin was breakout-prone and I struggled with mild rosacea and visible pores. Right now, my skin feels a bit dr y, so I’ll add hydrating ingredients to my skincare smoothies.

Day

01

ATHLETIC GREENS, £97 FOR A 30-DAY SUPPLY (£3.25 PER DAY)

Ever y morning, I drink Athletic Greens, which contains a powerhouse of vitamins and minerals, a long with adaptogens and probiotics, to kickstart my day.

02

NUUN TABLETS, £8.58

Ticking off hydration and health, I also have a huge bottle of electroly te water boosted with a Nuun tablet, which helps support my immune system, thanks to the likes of vitamin C, zinc, magnesium and more.

03

NARS COSMETICS INSTANT LINE AND PORE PERFECTOR, £21

I use lots of oils on my skin so I tend to be quite shiny, which doesn’t work well on camera. So when I’m being filmed, I always apply this to help unify my skin and create a sort of blurred effect.
