She runs one of the most luxurious spa brands in the world. Here, fashion model and beauty business mogul Kristina Romanova reveals her go-to heroes for self-care and skin health

A typical day
I split my time between Ibiza, Miami and London, depending on work, but I keep my morning routine consistent. I start my day with a cup of warm water to kick-start my digestive system before using my Neti pot – a pot with a long spout that’s designed to clear out the nasal cavity. Next, Ido my yoga practice – breathing exercises and an affirmation to set my intention for the day – before dropping my children at school. Breakfast is usually eggs with avocado and salmon, while lunch might be white fish with vegetables. My days are incredibly varied. Sometimes, I’ll visit our manufacturers in Portugal or Italy; other times, I’ll conduct tours with our clients or review the samples we’re working on. In the evenings, I relish downtime with my kids. Then, if I have time, I’ll do a bathtime ritual with candles to help melt away any stresses from the day.
Skincare philosophy
‘Skinimalism’. I believe less is more and I don’t like to complicate my routine. I’ve found I can achieve my skin goals with a small but powerful edit of products. This principle is behind the new Aman Essentials skincare line; I’m proud of what we’ve achieved with five products.
Skincare non-negotiable
Cleansing both morning and evening. This rids my skin of impurities that it’s exposed to daily and ensures I have a clean base so my follow-on products can penetrate effectively.
Main skincare concern
UV rays and environmental stressors. The negative impacts of sun exposure have long been proven and can also really affect skin health. As well as SPF, I always wear a large hat in the sun.
Day
I love to use this when my skin is looking a bit dull, as it really does leave me looking refreshed and radiant. I’m a big fan of this brand; I think their products are some of the most effective that are on the market.
This is my dream product. The texture is light and it sinks into your skin. The formula contains vitamins (E and C), peptides and hyaluronic acid, which leave my skin hydrated and support repair from environmental stressors.
Daily UV protection is a must in my morning routine, as I’m mindful of the sun’s impact. This is my favourite because it’s light and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It’s also the perfect base to wear under make-up.
