Submissions are now open for the Hidden Villains: Betrayed anthology. The editorial team seek ‘Bold, imaginative fantasy, horror, and S.F.’ They want work ‘sculpted to thrill and entertain readers with the bizarre or delve into the shadows.’ Suspense and thrillers are preferred over horror for this anthology, but a great horror story ‘will rise to the top.’
Submit stories, 2,000 to 8,000 words, using the online system. Strictly no AI written work.
Submissions close on 31 August. Anticipated Pay: US.02 per word + royalty share from all Draft 2 Digital sales, plus a copy.

The editorial team at WolfSinger Publications are howling for anthology submissions. Borne in the Blood’ is an anthology about things that are carried in the blood. Proceeds from ‘Borne in the Blood’ will be donated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.’
Submit stories 1,000 to 7,000 words in all genres. All genres will be considered but not erotica and go easy on the vampire and shifter stories. The deadline is 15 December.
The other anthology needing stories, 2,500 to 7,500 words, is Dragon Hoard. The team is looking for stories about dragons and their hoard or lack of a hoard. Submit fantasy, science fiction and any other speculative fiction genre, The deadline is 31 March 2024.
Payment: US$20.00 for ‘Blood’ and payment for ‘Dragon Hoard’ is US$15.00 plus equal share of 50% of the anthology’s royalties

Underdog Press
The editorial team at Underdog Press want to take ‘novels and stories that are a hard sell and don’t currently have a home and become that place where they can shine.’ Currently open for submissions for three anthologies.
The Underdogs Rise Vol. 2 anthology is a sequel to the first anthology. All stories, 3,500 to 12,000 words, must have science fiction or fantasy elements depicting underdogs rising to the occasion when it seems all hope is lost. The deadline is 31 August.
The Way of Worlds is an anthology focused on space exploration and colonization. The editorial team ‘want aliens, solar systems, spaceships, alternate universes, and to go somewhere beyond imagination.’ The deadline is 31 December.
Nightmares Before Bed is to be a horror anthology but definitely ‘no sexual violence, abuse of children, overly disturbing images and ideas, or gore will be published.’ Fantasy horror or S.F. horror stories too. Deadline is 31st of January 2024.
Up to three submissions are accepted. Submit polished manuscripts in standard Shunn format. Payment is US$.
