We want to be your cross stitch heroes, and our latest issue proves our commitment to this. Ever had a cross stitch magazine that has two halves? Oh yes! Issue 5 is Heroes and Villains and we’ve got two front covers from Otterly In XStitches and Leah Emery, and that’s just the start of the awesomeness! Many of our fifteen designers responded to the theme by making patterns of their heroes, like Ellen Schinderman‘s homage to Stan Lee or Tom Katsumi‘s beautiful blackwork portrait of activist Bayard Rustin! Yet some of the designers chose to explore their dark sides, like Peacock & Fig or PyroDogPins whose humorous design is perfect for the comic book geek in your life! Once again, we’ve three other newcomers in this issue! Stitchsperation invites you to dominate you day, DemonMonkeyCrafts gives you the chance to stitch the classic Frankenstein’s monster design and The Witchy Stitcher denies the devil! We have an amazing artist profile featuring Tanja Boukal and so much more good reading - it is the stuff of legend!
