Pip Hare dreamt of taking part in the world’s toughest solo yacht race, the Vendée Globe, from the age of 17. More than 30 years later, and now in her 50s, following years of adversity she is now planning to compete in the ‘Everest of the Seas’ for a third time in 2028.
