Heidi S tasiak. ED: Great idea!
My son Jozef Stasiak had life-limiting complex health. Jozef was a twin, and his brother Jacob lost his life at three and a half months.
Jozef loved living and especially loved motorcycles, his dogs, and school friends. Jozef sadly lost his life in December 2022. His funeral took place on Christmas Eve, and 1000 bikers came out to escort him to his final resting place. I was overwhelmed as I knew how much he would have loved that. I always promised I would keep his memory alive and create a charity to help other children and schools have the same resources.
With the help of his teaching assistant Mrs Sue Marshall, begins Jozef’s Dream. We are beginning fundraising and hope to become a registered charity by early 2024. We have had amazing support from friends and family.
A local group that arranges dog shows spoke with me about doing a show for Jozef’s Dream, and I am so grateful. Cornish Canine Fun Shows consist of two ladies Becky and Chloe, who host fun family dog shows in Cornwall, raising money for local charities and community projects. We have raised over £13000 for our community at these events, and they are such a fantastic day out with your dogs.
