There are a lot of questions that come up when planning your family bathroom, and
the answers will be different from household to household. How many children do you
have? What ages are they? Are there elderly family members? Do you have space for
both a bath and a shower? Accessibility, storage, and maintenance are all important
factors to consider, as well as the overall design. ‘Just because a bathroom is used
by all ages, doesn’t mean it has to look like a children’s nursery,’ says Ruth Foster,
interior designer at Victoria Plum. ‘Start off by looking at bathroom trends and think
about how you might like to incorporate these into your own space,’ she adds.
