DRESSAGERIDER AND trainer Alex Harrison purchased the bay gelding Sacha unseen after spotting him in a 30-second clip on the internet.
I thought, oh goodness , when he stepped off the lorry as he was quite small, Alex reveals. He also doesn t have the best conformation, having a long back and not the best knees, and he turned out to have a slightly hot temperament, but on the positive side he s naturally supple, has great expression and a fantastic work ethic — in fact, he would work all day long if he could. He s also very willing to learn new things. Because he’s buzzy, though, it’s important to always keep his mind occupied.”
Alex’s groom and work rider, Tegan Jones, partners Sacha regularly, keeping him ticking over at Colle
