THE ADAGE, ‘THERE is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes’, is especially true for equestrians.

Having the right kit makes dealing with winter so much easier, and investing in a good quality riding coat will make being outside in all weathers — from light drizzle to sleet and even snow — far more bearable. Longer style coats are popular, but they must have the right features to ensure that they protect the wearer both in and out of the saddle.
