IF you plan to use your INEOS Grenadier for something a bit more demanding than the school run or supermarket shop, Front Runner has opened up a huge range of accessories with the launch of a tailored roof rack.
This Slimline II rack is built for harsh off-road conditions and is made from T6 aluminium powder-coated in black epoxy and comes complete with a wind deflector. It sits on 10 gutter-mounted legs, with no drilling required to fit it, and there’s room for a Front Runner table under the tray.
The tray itself measures 2,570 x 1,575mm, weighs just over 50kg installed, and is designed to carry everything from jerry cans to a roof tent.
The Slimline II rack also features in another Front Runner new release: the Pro Bed Rack Kit. This allows users to retain the storage of the load bay in a pick-up but add a tough frame on top, with the tray above. The design is specific to each vehicle and is currently available for the double-cab Ford Ranger T6 (2,879 Euros, £2,449 approx) and T6.2 Wildtrak/Raptor (2,449 Euros, £2,083 approx), plus the Toyota Hilux Revo (2,475 Euros, £2,105 approx) and a range of US pick-ups. It is made from the same material as the Grenadier kit and is designed to accommodate several mounting systems on the sides.

There’s no need to head for the DIY store when you come across rust that needs treating, or paint that’s flaking, because there are 24 brushes in the 8862 kit, all with 6mm shafts that are ideal for use with any mains or cordless drill. The crimped wire brushes come in flat and cup designs, and are copper plated to minimise sparking and breaking. Just make sure you wear eye protection when using them.
