As millions avidly watched 13 celebs go into the Celebrity Big Brother house last week, most viewers were excited to look forward to some big bust-ups or sexy puckerups. However, as former This Morning presenter Fern Britton walked in, one viewer could have been nervous - her one-time TV partner and pal, shamed presenter, Phillip Schofield.
Gossip had been circulating that Fern was ready to spill the tea on Phil, who she was reported to have fallen out with back in 2009 when she quit This Morning suddenly. Rumours of tensions had swirled for some time and later in his biography, he admitted things had ‘gone sour’ between the two. So reports that Fern was set to be ‘unscripted and unapologetic’ on the show must have struck fear into Phillip’s heart.
Indeed, he may have had an uneasy moment when, while Fern was chatting to Kate Middleton’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, he revealed he’d heard a rumour that Phillip might be joining the CBB house. Fern responded: �
