FISHERY CREEK TOURING PARK

This is a tranquil campsite that runs parallel to a tidal creek that leads out to

Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A 10-minute stroll from the site leads you directly to Hayling Island's vast beach and plenty of places to eat. Fishery Creek is also adjacent to a boating lake. Fishery Creek is located on Hayling Island which is joined to the mainland by a road bridge and boasts over three miles of Blue Flag beaches.

The campsite is a mixture of well-drained grassland and shingle pitches in varying sizes, with electric hook-up. Creekfront and lakeside prime pitches offer fantastic views. Amenities on site include toilets and showers, undercover dishwashing areas, a play area and The Galleon Bistro. There is also a tidal slipway which is a great place for activities, including swimming, kayaking, launching small boats and even crabbing or fishing.

HENDRE MYNACH TOURING & CAMPING PARK, GWYNEDD

Hendre Mynach is located just 100 metres from a sandy beach, while dog-friendly Barmouth, with its shops, cafés and restaurants is a 20-minute walk along the promenade from the site. A small land train runs along the promenade for when you want to rest tired feet, and boat trips can be arranged at Barmouth harbour. The hills around Barmouth offer stunning views and are great for getting a good photo.

There are plenty of walks to enjoy too, from gentle strolls along the prom, to something more challenging, such as walking the old railway line to Dolgellau.

For campervans there are grass or hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups. Facilities include toilets and showers, a launderette, accessible facilities, a shop and a kids' play area.

Within 10 miles of the site there are two golf courses, river and lake fishing, historic Harlech Castle and Fairbourne Miniature Railway. For active guests the site is on the Wales Coast Path and National Cycle Route 8.
