Modern Euro 6 diesel vehicles require the owner/operator to top-up with AdBlue fluid when requested by the dashboard. A Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system works with AdBlue on many modern diesels – we study how this all works to reduce tailpipe emissions. Plus, we fit a new oil pump chain to the VAG 1.4 TDI engine, service a 2012 Jaguar XKR 5.0 and probe diagnostically a Citroën DS3 THP.
