More than 150 Ferraris took part in the Palm Beach chapter of Cavallino Classic, held in Florida from 26-28 January. Following a road trip along part of the stateʼs scenic coastline on the Friday, the cars gathered on Saturday for the main concours at The Breakers resort, creating a sea of (mostly) red stretching out across the hotelʼs lawn.

A rare, restored 1952 212 Inter from the Early Ferrari class was awarded Best of Show (Gran Turismo). The black-and-white, Ghia-bodied car, owned by Dennis and Susan Garrity, was displayed at the 1952 Paris Salon. The trophy for Best of Show (Competition), meanwhile, went to a 1964 250LM that raced at Le Mans and the Nürburgring, and is now owned by Chris and Ann Cox. Brian Rossʼ 275GTB Competizione, part of the 60 years of Ferrari 275 class, was given the Best of Show (Ferrari Classiche Certified) prize.

Away from the top accolades, 21 other awards were presented across various categories. A 1969 Dino 246GT triumphed in the class for V6-powered Prancing Horses, while a 1968 330GTC fended off a stunning 365GTB/4 Daytona and 365GTS/4 Daytona Spider to carry home the Four Litres Ferrari Award.

A group of Ferrari racing cars was topped by a bright-yellow 412P campaigned in the 1960s by the Ecurie Francorchamps team, from a competitive field including the 3-litre 312 Formula One car that Jacky Ickx drove to victory at the 1968 French Grand Prix, and the pale-green 1962 250GTO that was prepared by the UDT Laystall Racing outfit for Stirling Moss to drive.

A 1996 512M was victorious in the class dedicated to Ferrari Testarossa variants, with the original model celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024. Many more modern-classic Ferrari GTs competed for the Return of the Front-Mounted V12 Award, where a rare 575 Superamerica landed the top prize.

Other highlights included a 1984 288GTO, ʼ67 275GTB/4 NART Spider, ʼ95 F50 and the ʼ62 250GT SWB Aerodinamico that won the Honorary Judgesʼ Award.

On Sunday, the group moved on to the nearby Mar-a-Lago resort for a relaxed car show and concours, where the Ferraris were joined by other makes. After winning the Best of Show award on Saturday, the Garritysʼ 212 Inter also picked up Finest GT gong on day three, while Harry Yeaggyʼs class-winning 412P racer was awarded Finest Competition.
