‘BLESSED’ LINDSAY SHARES BABY NEWS
She rose to fame for her iconic role in The Parent Trap – now former wildchild Lindsay Lohan is set to become a parent herself, announcing the happy news on Instagram to her 12m followers last week.
The actress, 36, is expecting her first child with husband Bader Shammas, who she married last summer. She posted a sweet photo of a baby grow with the slogan “Coming soon”, writing underneath, “We are blessed and excited!”
Fans and celebrity friends rushed to congratulate her, including fellow noughties icon Paris Hilton, who wrote, “Welcome to the Mommy Club!” and actress Amanda Seyfried who posted, “This is WONDERFUL news!!”
The Mean Girls star and financier Bader, 36, have kept most details about their relationship private, although the pair are thought to have dated for two years before tying the knot.
Lindsay recently opened up about her relationship on Instagram, sharing a rare picture of the couple after their wedding with the caption, “I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this.”
The happy pregnancy news marks another new chapter in Lindsay’s life, following a difficult past. She found fame aged just 12 and endured a struggle with drugs and alcohol that began in her teens. She has been admitted to six different rehab facilities since 2007, as well as several stints in jail for violating her probation after being arrested for driving under the influence and being in possession of drugs.
She’s previously had romances with actor Wilmer Valderrama and DJ Samantha Ronson. But it seems to be the real deal with Bader as she described herself as “the luckiest woman in the world” to have found him.

Lottie Tomlinson and her boyfriend Lewis Burton returned from their “perfect first holiday” as a family of three last week.
The model, 24, and former tennis player, 30, welcomed their son Lucky last August and have been sharing a slew of sunny snaps from his first holiday in the Maldives.
Captioning one album shared during the trip, Lottie – the sister of former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson – wrote, “Feeling so so so so so happy and excited to be here with my beautiful family.”
The new parents started dating in July 2020 and announced Lottie’s pregnancy just over a year and a half later. Lewis previously dated presenter Caroline Flack for six months before her tragic death in February 2020.
