Queen of the Jungle and Lioness legend Jill Scott opens up to Closer about struggling to find time to plan her big day
S he became the nation’s sweetheart after winning last year’s I’m A Celebrity! and England football star Jill Scott reveals a reunion is on the cards as her campmates are invited to her upcoming wedding to fiancée Shelly Unitt.
The 36-year-old footballer, who starred on the hit show alongside the likes of Boy George, Matt Hancock and Mike Tindall, tells Closer, “Of course I’ll be inviting them! I keep in touch with a lot of them. I was at the Man City verses Arsenal game with Owen [campmate and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner] just recently.
“We go to the football a lot together, and I’ve seen Chris Moyles a few times and Charlene [White]. I’ve made some really good friends from the jungle and I’m very grateful.”
WHIRLWIND
Lioness Jill popped the question to barista Shelly, 38, in March 2020, after six years of dating. But the athlete explains they still haven’t got their wedding plans fully together, confessing, “Everyone keeps asking us about the wedding, but we haven’t booked it yet. Once we get round to doing it, of course the campmates will be invited.”
Since leaving the jungle in December, Jill’s life has been a whirlwind, which hasn’t left her much time to think about her upcoming nuptials.
