Free People Hit the Slopes Printed Fleece Jacket, £158

I immediately started grinning when I pulled this out of the bag – it’s so cute and cheery, from the daisies to the bubblegum-pink lining. The boxy 1990s fit feels retro enough to be cool all over again and it hangs perfectly. Plus, it’s toasty!

Uniqlo Fluffy Fleece, £24.90

The material is so soft, you’ll want to cuddle up in it all day. But if you do venture out, the cropped fit and lightweight design mean it’s super easy to style. And the colour is a fun alternative to all the neutral shades out there.

Arket Hooded Fleece Jacket, £99

This oversized hooded fleece is the perfect throw-on. I chuck everything in my pockets, so I was pleased with its deep-set pair. My one wish would be that it had the same lush fleece lining inside, too.

Barbour Laven Fleece, £119

If you’re not a fleece person, prepare to be converted. This has been my daily staple since trying it on. The sherpa style jacket is fleece lined on the reverse and has plenty of pockets for all your bits. Plus, it’s perfect for bracing the cold when the pub has no free tables inside.
