It may still be chilly outside, but our thoughts are already turning to spring and watching our gardens burst into bloom. This cute watering can die, complete with flowers, will supply a much-needed shot of dopamine and is ideal to create greetings for all kinds of events, from birthdays to anniversaries, or just to surprise a keen gardener. We’ve already burrowed away in our craft rooms and made 13 cards plus a couple of seed saver envelopes – what will you make with your gift?

1 Glue a 12cm square of stripy paper onto coloured card leaving a narrow border all round, then mount onto a 15cm white blank. Die-cut a watering can and a sentiment from white textured cardstock. Back both pieces with bright coloured card. Use foam pads to fix the can in the lower centre of the card and add the sentiment across the top. Die-cut a few flowers from two shades of coloured card.
