Coinciding with the Pagan festival of Yule, the winter solstice on 21 December marks the moment in the year when we find ourselves tilted furthest from the Sun. It is the shortest day — and longest night — of the year, heralding the start of astronomical winter.
Spiritually, this is a time of new beginnings, rebirth, transformation and heightened creativity — as well as an opportunity to rid ourselves of habits and behaviours that aren’t serving us.
