With Valentine’s Day landing smack bang in the middle of the month, February is for lovers. But don’t let the greetings cards fool you, there’s plenty to celebrate, regardless of your relationship status. With this in mind, for the February issue of GAY TIMES we’re exploring what “love” looks like when taken out of the context of monogamous coupledom. Instead, we’re focussing on the love that can be found in friendships, communities, art and even social media mutuals. Heading up the issue, journalist Rachel Grace Almeida interviews Colombian-American singer-songwriter and bisexual icon Kali Uchis for our February cover story. The interview comes hot on the heels of the release of Uchis's fourth studio album and second Spanish-language LP Orquídeas, a lush exploration of the divine feminine, romantic love and self-care.
