Farewell gigantic pizzas washed down by gallons of beer
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce looked as loved-up as ever at Coachella last week, with Taylor wowing fans in sexy festi chic and Travis showing off a more, er, interesting style. And an insider says the singer is determined to smarten up her boyfriend and make him the Hollywood superstar he’s desperate to be. But while his wardrobe is a work in progress, he has at least agreed to shape up during the off-season from football.
“Fitness and diet are very important to Taylor. She’s obviously attracted to Travis physically and knows how image-conscious he is, too,” we’re told. “She’s all about clean eating and wants him to follow suit. She can’t bear the idea of him becoming a slob. ”
On his podcast New Heights – which Travis, 34, hosts alongside his lookalike brother Jason, 36 – the 6ft 5in tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs candidly confessed that he once weighed in at over 20st at college, blaming his favourite Bearcat pizza for him piling on the pounds. The pizza – a signature dish of Adriatico’srestaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio – typically serves between ten-12 people, and has been described as “the size of a standard breakfast nook”.
Now, our source says Taylor, 34, has taken it upon herself to steer her boyfriend of nine months in a healthier direction, particularly as she’s at her peak fitness right now, as she is halfway through her gruelling Eras tour, which sees her performing for up to three-and-a half hours at each show. The source says, “She’s made him agree to ditch sugar and processed carbs, and he’s really cutting back on his alcohol intake, too. She does not want him boozing during the week. She wants him watching everything he eats, and is having loads of healthy food delivered, so he won’t go off this diet. He’s used toeatinganddrinking whatever he wants in the off-season, but that’s just not going to fly any more.”
