Looking relaxed and happy on an autumnal stroll in London’s Notting Hill, James Middleton and his wife Alizée gave a glimpse of family life after welcoming their first child.

Proud dad James, the 36-year-old younger brother of the Princess of Wales and Pippa Middleton, announced the happy news by sharing three adorable photos and revealing the new arrival is a boy, whom they have called Inigo.

“He has been in our lives for just a few weeks but they have been the most special of my life getting to know our beautiful baby boy,” he wrote on Instagram. “No matter how prepared I thought I was... I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time and the love for my darling Alizée as we became three.”

The couple are clearly embracing these precious early days with their son, who has a ready-made band of playmates in Kate’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as Pippa’s trio, Arthur, Grace and Rose, with husband James Matthews.

James and Alizée will have been busy creating a nursery at their beautiful 16thcentury farmhouse in Berkshire, which lies a stone’s throw from his parents Carole and Michael’s home.

In his announcement post, James gave thanks to “the wonderful team at Basingstoke hospital, from the very first scan to walking out the front door for the first time as three, we couldn’t have felt more supported and looked after througho
