As a ceremony that celebrates innovators in fashion, the CFDA(Council Fashion Designers of America) Awards attracts some of the most glamorous women in the world. And stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway and Demi Moore certainly got the brief, sparkling on the red carpet in couture gowns that showed off their sartorial style to perfection.
Leading the way, Sliding Doors actress Gwyneth kept it chic – in a long black cocktail skirt and polo neck jumper from her own G Label – to take home the Innovation Award for her wellness brand Goop.
The Academy Award winner posed on the red carpet with fellow actress Demi – shimmering in a strapless silver sequinned Caroline Herrera gown – while The Devil Wears Prada star Anne arrived in Ralph Lauren before changing into red lace Rodarte as she hosted the “Oscars of fashion”.
