They share a range of interests as well as impeccable genes, so when mother-and-daughter team Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber got together for a night out in New York, a good time is guaranteed – especially as the occasion was a party for Omega. The watchmaker’s model ambassadors were among the VIPs attending the Planet Omega Fashion Panel and Cocktail Party, held in celebration of a new exhibition dedicated to the brand. Ticking all the fashion boxes in classic black, Cindy, 57, and 22-year-old Kaia (left and below) were perfectly synchronised on the red carpet, with Cindy putting a loving arm around her daughter. She makes no secret of her pride in Kaia, who in turn says the constant comparisons to her supermodel mum are “the biggest compliment”.
They were not the only famous faces at the event, however. Pairing her timepiece with Balenciaga, long-standing Omega ambassador Nicole Kidman (right) said: “I use watches to avoid my phone.”
GORDON RAMSAY
Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana will soon be looking for a table for eight, after welcoming an unexpected chef’s special: new baby son Jesse. News of the addition came via social media, with proud dad Gordon celebrating by posting a carousel of photos taken soon after the birth.
“What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!!” wrote the chef, who turned 57 earlier this month, alongside images including one of him tenderly kissing the top of the newborn’s head (left). “One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade. 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done.”
The couple are already parents to Megan, 25, twins Holly and Jack, 23, former Strictly Come Dancing star Tilly, 22 (above right with her parents), and four-year-old Oscar. But the new addition took fans by surprise, after Gordon and Tana kept the pregnancy secret. “It’s been a nerve wracking 9 months but we’ve made it and have been blessed with this little bundle,” wrote Tana, 49, on Instagram. “Ramsay family definitely complete.”
PIXIE LOTT
There was no charity auction, but at the inaugural mothers2mothers fundraising ball at the V&A Museum in London’s South Kensington, there was one Lott that drew plenty of attention: new mum Pixie.
The Mama Do singer looked a lot like she was enjoying motherhood as she made her first high-profile public appearance (right) since giving birth to her first child, bursting out of her baby bubble to champion the cause.
“Loved last night at the Mothers 2 Mothers ball,” 32-year-old Pixie told fans in an Instagram post, calling the charity’s work “incredible”.
